Blog Action Day: Beautiful Africa

(.)

Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will never let you out of my mind
I hear your voices people of Africa
I hear your cries people of Africa
I see pain in your eyes people of Africa
It is hard to describe what you people of Africa are going through
Poverty strikes you all people of Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will keep you in my prayers people of Africa

Today's Blog Action Day.
I subscribed to this months ago, when i first read about it.
Of course, when this day finally arrived, i don't have a clue what to write and post about.
Nevertheless, i find this a great thing and surely still want to participate.

I decided to stay close to the things i daily post about, because this blog is about beauty and love, in the biggest sense of both words.

(.)

The poverty that's still widely taking lives in this world is just heartbreaking.
I often ask myself why? Why do i have such a good and rich life and at the same moment as i am writing this with a nice, warm cup of coffee and the light of a lamp in the early morning, a little child is dying because of hunger at the other side of this same world?
I know i won't get an answer and i also know only writing about this and feeling sad about the differences between the same people of flesh and blood are so immense, won't help a thing either.

I decided to post some beautiful pictures of Africa, because as i already told you in one of my first posts on this blog, i have a big fascination for Africa.
This continent is so inspiring to me, because of it's amazing nature and the beautiful people that sometimes still live so close to that nature...

I think we can learn a lot from African people.
It's not only the other way around...

A little something else....
To end this post, i want to tell you about 'Bring the elephant home'.
This is an organisation that helps the elephants in countries like Thailand, where they are treated very bad. People try to make a living out of the elephants by selling them to circusses.
So if you are looking for an organisation to support, maybe you want to consider supporting this one.
